I am so excited to announce significant milestones for 2 of our SOTE alumni!
Rev Anthony Loh? was installed as the Bishop of the Lutheran Church on 21 June 2025! He approaches this role with fear and trembling but is very aware of the Lord’s calling and has stepped up for such a time as this. His prayer is “for wisdom, clarity, humility and the daily empowerment of the Holy Spirit; to discern what God is doing in these last days and to faithfully play his part….”
Miss Joyce Lau was installed as the National Director of the Overseas Missionary Fellowship (OMF), Singapore, on 28 June 2025.? She has taken this challenge only because she knows that the Lord of the Armies is her Shield and Fortress. He is her Rearguard, and he will go before her and fight all her battles and grant her victory and shalom. Pray for her as she carries this big task to serve the missionaries and do strategic planning for the missionary organization and takes it to the next level, with God at the helm.
Many of you are serving the Lord in big and small ways where he has placed you, and we rejoice with you and pray for you. We appreciate your prayer pointers as we intercede for all our alumni, monthly, in? the 4 respective schools.?
Let us continue to hold on to Jesus our Rock and Defender, our dearest Friend, and our greatest Treasure!
