This talk will present the exorcism techniques in the extra-canonical literature of the Second Temple period. The implications of Jesus’ exorcisms in Luke’s Gospel will be investigated against this background.

Dr. Mavis Leung

Dr Leung holds PhD and MDiv degrees from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, U.S.A. She is Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at Evangel Seminary, Hong Kong. Some of the Chinese books she has authored include:
