A prayer from Paul to you:

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith – that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:14-19)

I do not know what you are going through today but Like Paul in his prayer for the Ephesian Christians, I pray that each one of you reading this letter will sense how much God loves you and longs to fill you with his Spirit and enable you to live today with joy and peace and the assurance that he knows you intimately and loves you deeply.

Someone said our lens is infinitely smaller than God’s picture and his plans for our lives. He wants to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20)

Don’t miss out on all he wants to do in your life today because you have overcrowded your day with appointments and commitments galore! Take a deep breath, pause for a minute or two, listen to his still small voice nudging you to come away with him and find your rest in him!

Are you weary, tired, disappointed, confused and harassed? Jesus invites you to come to him!

Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me – watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you will learn to live freely and lightly. (Matthew 11:28-30, The Message).

Resting in the LORD and serving together.
